After a series of blisteringly hot gigs in and around the Midlands, Oya Batucada are heading up to Liverpool for the annual Carnival Parade. It all kicks off in Cambridge Street at 8.30pm, parading around the city and ending at the Chinese Arch.

Oyabatucada is currently rehearsing on a Sunday, 12.15 - 3.00pm at the the Hare and Hounds, Kings Heath. For more info, take a look at the Workshops section.
After a rain soaked festival of light at the beginning of artsfest last year, this time Oya will be playing a Sunday evening slot at the Yardbird, 7.00pm on 13th September.

Oyabatucada played two sets at the Latin American Festival at the weekend (July 5th), in the sun and in the rain! And we loved it. Bring on more summer Samba.
